It's nutty and has notes of peach skin, aromatic, and it's velvety and warm, with notes of oak, spicy and smoky, with balance and elegance. This is a recent bottling, but there are no clues about it on the labels; but they mention En Rama, bottled unfiltered. The cider-apple juice (the must) is mixed before fermentation with Calvados in the proportion 3/4 must to 1/4 Calvados of 65°. The essential mellowness is the result of ageing in oak casks. Cocchi Americano Bianco Aperitivo (750ml)Cocchi Americano means much more to Asti than a simple wine made with the infusion of herbs and spices. An aperitif par excellence. Cocchi's is widely regarded as the original Aperitivo Americano, and has been made continuously since 1891 using only natural ingredients. Cocchi Americano Rosa Aperitivo (750ml)Throughout its history, the house of Cocchi has periodically produced alternative varieties of its Americano aperitif wine. Here the wine base is a blend of two aromatic varietals such as Brachetto and Malvasia famous for imparting notes of wild rose and summer berries.
