This Junmai sake has been matured in tank more than 12 months. It has slight golden color, and full of flavour, complexity and good acidity.Yamahai is a very old and traditonal technique, and Tengumai have mastered this technique and it is reflected in this sake. Forest Hill Block 5 Cabernet Sauvignon 2022It feels like this pocket of Mount Barker does well with this variety. Very well. Bold scents of cassis, lavender, bay leaf and sea spray with well-judged clove and cinnamon spice. Refreshing and succulent to taste, spot-on medium weight, though the levity and vitality make it feel prettier than that. Dark fruit flavours but lots of herb and spice too, tannins in tow are ultrafine and, again, mineral-charged, all pulverised stone and talc. Zalto BalanceThe idea behind 'Balance' was to design a glass that would bring out the best in new-wave artisanal/low-intervention wines that emphasise texture and structure as much as fruit. Michael Hinterleitner, whose family owns Zalto, explains, "We have been testing different prototypes for two years to create a glass that harmonises certain aspects of wines not often found in conventional winemaking."
So, after two years of intensive tastings and discussions with winegrowers and sommeliers, 'Balance' was born. Zalto recommends the glass for deep, complex whites-Chardonnay and full-bodied Riesling, for example-to fully show their depth and subtlety while harmonising aromas and flavours without concentrating one element. They also recommend the glass for complex sparkling wines, skin-macerated whites and reds made with high proportions of bunches.

Australian glass artist and printmaker, Brian Hirst creates some of the most visual and tactile wine decanters. Brian's standing in the art world is revered - his pieces are exhibited throughout the world, including galleries in Sydney, New York and Paris - in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
His interest in functional design has led to the creation of charismatic and stunning decanters which we're offering today. These are fluid yet functional designs, beautiful to hold and use.
This bowling ball G+B decanter was a collaboration between friends Giorgio de Maria (leading Italian importer) and artist Brian Hirst (hence the name G+B). A former sommelier, Giorgio helped design a decater that moulds into your hand, making it a pleasure to use.
