The nose is brilliantly clear and spicy, with fine raisin aromas intertwined with candied grapefruit and fully ripe mirabelles. Round, lush and intense on the palate, this is a very refined and concentrated, saline and savory Auslese with delicate bitters on the well-structured finish that is a gorgeous reflection of the Rothenberg terroir. The 2021 Kiedrich Turmberg Riesling Auslese is precise, fresh and flinty on the nose yet pretty sweet on the palate. This is an elegant and refined, dense and saline, seriously grippy and stimulating Auslese with enormous aging potential.
