  1. Canonita 750ml - Aperitivo de Mallorca
Canonita 750ml - Aperitivo de Mallorca
Canonita! What is it? Think Aperol but better. Ok. Bold statement but this stuff is absolutely delicious. It's made from the best organic Canoneta oranges from Mallorca's Sóller Valley.

The Valley is located on Mallorca's northwest coast and sheltered by the Tramuntana mountains is a magic place. Thanks to its unique terroir it is the centre of citrus cultivation in Mallorca for over  a  1000 years and the valley is theoriginal home of the highly aromatic Canoneta orange, considered the "queen of oranges".

Carefully crafted by Antonio Nadal, Mallorca's oldest and most renown distillery, the Canoneta essence is blended with white wine and refined with a secret selection of herbs from our beautiful island.
Its beautifully fragrant with fresh crushed orange, citrus peel, delicate sweet floral notes and a gentle bitterness of fresh cut herbs. This is perfect as a spritz or even with tonic but honestly we would happily drink it with ice and a dash soda as an apertif all summer long.

  2. Arpepe Il Pettirosso Valtellina Superiore 2019
Arpepe Il Pettirosso Valtellina Superiore 2019
Pettirosso is the Italian name for the red-breasted robin, a bird common to the woods above the vineyards. The birds rarely enter the cellar, but in the late 1990s, one did, landing on a cask as if to warn the family about something. Tasting the wine from this barrel later, the family realized it was ready to be bottled, and didn’t need to age as a Riserva. That was the 1997 vintage, and Pettirosso was made again in 1999, but then not again until 2015. 2016 is the fourth ever vintage of this cuvee, which is a blend of the most prompt wines from vineyards in Sassella and Grumello above 400 meters.

Sourced from Sassella & Grumello vineyards sitting at 400 meters above sea level with  average age of the vines: 50 years old, and some up to 100 years old. 100 days of maceration on the skins
with 12 months in 50HL casks, chestnut, Slavonian or French, but all coopered by steam without toastm and 24 months in bottle prior to release

  3. Sanchez Romate Oloroso 'Don Jose' 750ml
Sanchez Romate Oloroso 'Don Jose' 750ml
Not all base wine is destined to become Fino (or Amontillado) and those parcels that show broader and less refined characteristics are allocated to the Oloroso soleras. By contrast to the production of Fino and Amontillado the flor is killed off immediately and the process becomes simply one of oxidation in barrel. While there are sweeter Orloroso's on the market the best examples are dry and are characterised by darker colour with nutty, toffeed aromatics and a warm and deep texture. The wine is perfect for the winter evenings and also is a classic accompaniment to consommés and soups. PWS
