NV Extra Brut Cuvée des Crayères is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Some base wines were made in oak, and the blend contains between 40 and 50% reserve wines. Smokiness and red apple peel blend deliciously on the nose. The palate also unites apple peel and smoke on a beautifully concentrated, bright body that shines with freshness. The mousse is exemplary and fine, adding elegance. Dosage is 2.5 grams per liter. ANNE KREBHIEL MW
