Pretty and perfumed, the 2019 Chénas Les Carrières wafts from the glass with notes of sweet berry fruit, potpourri, peonies and spices. Medium-bodied, pure and lively, with fine tannins and lively acids, despite the warm conditions, it's surprisingly reminiscent of the Thillardon brothers' 2016 vintage.
