adjacent to the village of Trilofos. Vines are young and non-irrigated at an altitude 200-500 metres on Schist, granite and limestone. Naoussa’s region warm continental climate with moderate rainfall throughout the year. Cooling winds from Vermio mountain are crucial for the quality of the grapes.
Grapes are hand-picked, 75% destemmed, macerated for 12-15 days and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 3 months and 8 months in concrete tanks.
Fresh strawberries, cherries, and raspberries, potentially with hints of wild herbs, spices, and even a touch of floral elements weaving themselves in too. Very cool wine. Almond oil and citrus pith on the nose slowly open to reveal orange blossom, green mandarin and saline notes. Some lovely phenolic grip add texture webbing the pristine fruits on the palate together nicely. It starts tangy and fresh with an array of citrus interspersed with rocky notes and green apple fruit. Super refreshing with a long palate that sizzles along to a long supple close.
