I think this is the first time I have ever put a Prosecco to my nose and exclaimed, 'oh wow'. This smells simply lovely. Intensely appley – all at once ripe, green-skinned, crunchy, baked, caramelised. And with a hint of angelica. Bone dry on the palate with a fine fizz. Apples, but fresh and green and super-crisp. Kings County Moonshine 375ml40% ABV. Kings County Distillery's Moonshine (un-aged whiskey) is distilled from 80% New York State organic corn and 20% malted barley, sourced from the UK. The latter represents one of the highest proportions of malted barley on a US whiskey's mash bill. It is double distilled in gooseneck copper pot stills to yield a lower distillation proof, rich in flavor and mouthfeel.
