A more floral infused nose - fresh and deep. Considered, indeed supple, almost layered expression of flavours. The finish with acidulated fruit and with extra bitters - that's a lovely counterpoint. The length a proper 1er cru step up… BILL NANSON, The Burgundy Report

OUTSTANDING! - A discreet application of oak sets off markedly floral-suffused white orchard fruit aromas. Once again there is a strikingly lovely texture to the generously proportioned medium weight flavors that deliver excellent length on the balanced finale. Like several wines in the range, this too could use better depth so some patience is recommended. With that said, Champs Canet almost always drinks well young so if you're going to pull a Carillon '23 to try, this would be a good choice. BURGHOUND

Aromatic and expressive, the 2023 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champ Canet delivers aromas of orange blossom, peach and honey, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and unctuous palate that's textural and enveloping. WILLIAM KELLEY

Mid lemon. Quite rich and open at this point, with a floral nose of white flowers, a little chlorophyll and rich lemon. Moderate, crisp acidity. Quite long, intensely mineral and plenty of tension. JULIA HARDING MW, Jancis Robinson
