Sweet whiffs of cranberry, pomegranate, ripe raspberry with liquorice, brambles. Evocative scents. Almost spice-cupboard like. Fleshy, bright and a touch warm in fruit character, quite flamboyant, powdery tannins weaving through red berries, dried herbs then fennel to close with a rolling pucker of chalkiness.
