Since the early 1960s, Claudio Fenocchio has looked beyond local markets, helping to establish both his estate and the wider Piedmontese region on the international stage. Yet despite this outward focus, his wines remain firmly rooted in tradition, guided by the same principles that shaped the Giacomo Fenocchio identity.
Sourced from 15-year-old vines in the Langhe and matured in both steel and large Slavonian oak, this wine shows deep ruby colour and a lifted, fruit-forward nose of plum, cherry, rose and tar. The palate is supple and balanced, with fine tannins and notes of wild berry and liquorice-a faithful and charming expression of young Nebbiolo.
It has a deep ruby red hue with garnet reflections and an intense and fruit-forward bouquet filled with plum, wild berry and cherry. There are also classic notes of rose and tar. The palate is rich and well balanced with silky tannins and hints of liquorice. So easy to love.
