The 2022 Rosso MunJebel is wickedly spicy and fresh, bursting with a bouquet of crushed raspberries, sage and wet stones. It opens with a lovely inner sweetness, compounded by ripe red berry fruit juiciness as a core of zesty acidity adds an abundance of energy throughout. Tapering off with a resonance of hard candies, it finishes medium-long and clean, leaving behind rosy inner florals and a bitter tinge of clove. The 2022 is dangerously easy to drink. The 2022 Munjebel Rosso Classico is made from Nerello Mascalese hailing from different vineyard sites on the northern slopes. It’s fresh and delicious, delivering mouthfuls of succulent red-skinned fruit, cherry tart, baking spice and star anise before closing on a note of blood orange.
