Aromatics: Notes of citrus (lemon/lime), ripe peach, and orchard fruits like apple and pear are common, often with a creamy or oily texture. The black flint ("silex noir") soil in the vineyard, imparts a distinctive gunflint, smoky, and earthy character to the wine.
Palate: A "stunning" and powerful vintage with a deep, stony, and honeysuckle-filled profile. We love the structure and generosity of this wine, with incredible balanced and acidity carrying the 25g residual sugar beautifully. - Mosaique Wines
