Not the same aromatic impact but there's width and it has my attention! That is beautifully proportioned - melting, mineral, classy flavoured - not full impact or concentration - the Perri?es is better in this respect but here is very class terroir with still a super impressive length. From two plots, next to Bienvenues-B?tard-Montrachet, and the larger plot with older vines below the pillars of Clos des Folatieres. A clean pale colour, with some tension on the nose, more than fruit concentration, though the palate speaks more of the latter and delivers a fairly classical Pucelles with its steely backbone.
