High-toned fragrance here - that's a beautiful invitation. A little more direct, melting, mineral-even, but the middle and finishing flavours are wider and just beautiful. The finish has a little more barrel character but you will hardly notice in 12 months. Beautifully fading in the finish - a simply excellent Meursault - I love it! BILL NANSON, The Burgundy Report
Pale lemon colour. The nose is hard to tease out at first. The palate though shows good concentration, with adequate acidity and a feeling of tension. The fruit is just perfectly ripe and extends well at the finish. Rounded in style but racy to finish. JASPER MORRIS MW
2024- The 2024 Meursault Vieilles Vignes comes from two parcels in Les Pellans and Les Pelles Dessus, raised in around 20% new oak. This has quite an energetic bouquet, a little feistier than the other cuvées, with touches of lemon balm and menthol accompanying the citrus fruit. The palate is very well balanced with gentle grip, modest weight, a little waxy in texture with good extract on the leesy finish and a dash of pepper on the aftertaste. NEAL MARTIN
