70% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 15% Mourvèdre. Plush ripe plums, mulberry, fresh crushed raspberries, pastille, anise and wild florals, classic Rhone crushed rocks, and subtle cocoa. Palate has mouth-coating fruit power with violet and plum rounded by fine chalky tannins. A full-bodied wine that is bought slick into balance with perfumed high tones, wild fruit, and a lingering line of acidity. This wine has the structure to last through medium-term cellaring but also shows great immediacy with lively up front energy. EFFIE ROSS
