Batard Langelier Les Prieres Muscadet 2024

Batard-Langelier Estate, a family-owned vineyard spanning 24 hectares of gently sloping terrain at an altitude of approximately 60 meters. Situated between the Sèvre and Maine rivers, south of the Loire, the estate benefits from an oceanic climate due to its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, less than 50 km away. Jérémie Batard, a third-generation winemaker, returned to the estate in 2017 and now works alongside his parents, Régine and Pascal. The estate is particularly fortunate to have vineyards planted on a variety of subsoils, including Granite, Gneiss, and Gabbro.
Les Prières 2024, a 100% Melon de Bourgogne wine sourced from multiple plots on granite terroir, with vines averaging 20 years old. This wine is fermented and aged in underground glass-lined tanks on its lees for 7 to 10 months. It is characterized by exotic fruit aromas and a hint of sea spray on the nose, offering a fine tension on the palate with a light, juicy profile and excellent mineral acidity.
