    STAGE 21 – Flat – Thoiry to Paris Champs-Élysées – 133 km

"Quality sparkling wine not to be missed - for anything" | Decanter Magazine
FIVE STARS 93/100 | Sam Kim  "A gorgeous wine... A fabulous alternative to Champagne."

Produced by the team behind Monmousseau in the Loire Valley, Veuve Laperrière has built a reputation for producing consistently excellent traditional method sparkling wines at remarkable prices. Drawing on generations of expertise in secondary fermentation and bottle ageing, the winery focuses on freshness, finesse and drinkability rather than flashy winemaking.

Unlike many Loire sparklings that lean heavily on Chenin Blanc, this cuvée is built around Chardonnay, lending elegance, fine citrus fruit and delicate minerality. Produced using the traditional method and matured on lees before disgorgement, it offers fine bubbles, freshness and plenty of charm. As the riders roll down the Champs-Élysées, there is only one way to celebrate another Tour completed—with something sparkling in the glass.
