The vineyard called Il Glicine extends over 1 hectare in the Sassella sub-zone at 350 metres, in the commune of Sondrio, featuring predominantly sandy soil with some silt. Glicine is the Italian word for wisteria; and this colourful plant clings to the rocky crags that dominate the entire plot.
100% Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) that saw stainless steel for primary fermentation and oak (500-30,000L) for malo and aging, a total of 12 months in barrel. SANDRO FAY
