Bright ruby red in color with clear crimson highlights. Deep, full perfumes, elegant, well-balanced and enduring, reminiscent of rose, undergrowth and oriental spices. Very powerful bouquet. Fine structure accompanied by lively acidic freshness, sweetened by overall softness. Flavors conjure up morello cherry and plum jam with a long finish. RIZZI
This is what Barbera should be with a few years in the bottle. Creamy textured red fruits, baking spices, cherry, rhubarb crumble it has it all and its all in the right place. Fresh, floral and with a cool entry of bright fruit that has a faintly serious almost rocky feel and plenty of energy. The challenge is out, try to not finish a bottle of this once you rip the cork out of it. ROSCOE
