The 2023 Côte-Rôtie Côte Blonde makes a compelling start at this youthful stage, opening with pronounced orange blossom, peak-fresh black cherry, spice box and crushed violets. Pencil shavings and blackberry add further aromatic breadth. The 2023 touches the medium to full-bodied palate with elevated flavor concentration, effortlessly balanced by uplifting acidity that brings verve and beguiling tension. The finish is extremely tight and linear, carrying through to a long, elegant close. This is outstanding. NICHOLAS GREINACHER, Vinous Media

The 2023 Côte Rôtie Côte Blonde brings a touch more ripeness and exuberance than the Ampodium cuvée, offering exotic red and black fruits, spring flowers, graphite, and crushed stone-like minerality on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, layered, and silky on the palate, it has beautiful tannins, a juicy, lively mouthfeel, and a gorgeous finish. It's pure Côte Blonde in its perfume, complexity, and elegance. Give it just a few years and enjoy over the following two decades. JEB DUNNUCK
