The 2023 Pinot Noir (West Sonoma Coast) is brilliant. Bold, racy and punchy, with terrific energy, the 2023 is a delight. Red/purplish fruit, lavender, rose petal, mint and orange peel are all front and center. Clean mineral notes frame the long, nuanced finish. Most of this fruit is from the Peay estate. A Portuguese name, the 2022 Chardonnay Maritma Estate is a bright silver yellow color and shows off notes of sea spray, ripe citrus blossom, ripe apples, melon rind, and almond. Full-bodied, it has elegant charm through its long finish, with notes of marzipan lasting after the wine is gone. It is highly refined and has a great deal of high-quality feel. Aromas of lemon oil, honeysuckle, sea salt and talcum power. The palate is medium-bodied with laserlike acidity and a creamy texture. This wine is so high-energy and focused that it will unravel nicely for years to come. Excellent. (95) JAMES SUCKLING

Sporting a bright, youthful red color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Ama Estate is elegant and very lovely on the nose, with notes of sea spray, dark crushed rocks, compact red berries, and cinnamon. It has fantastic length and a bright linear feel, with mouthwatering acidity and a compact feel through the long, lovely, savory finish. (96) JEB DUNNUCK

Complex aromas of raspberries, cherries, blueberries and rose petals. The medium-bodied palate has fine tannins and nervy acidity, showing graphite, ruby grapefruit and fresh herbs. Very pure and focused with a soft touch. (95) JAMES SUCKLING

The 2022 Estate Syrah La Bruma has pretty aromas of blackcurrant and cherry, cracked pepper, powdered sugar and soaring violet perfume. The medium-bodied palate offers highly concentrated, floral flavors. It’s framed by youthfully grippy tannins and juicy acidity, and it has a long finish with just a touch of warmth. 325 cases were made, and it will be released in August 2025. The 2022 Syrah Estate La Bruma is a dense, powerful wine that is going to need a number of years to be at its best. Intense red-toned fruit, blood orange, pomegranate, rose petal and exotic spices abound. There's gorgeous depth and density here.
