  1. Richter Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett 2022
Richter Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett 2022
The 2022er Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett was made from fruit picked at a low 78° Oechsle on 80-year old un-grafted vines and was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (50 g/l). This wine proves quite open for business thanks to an engaging nose made of mirabelle, citrusy fruits, spices, a hint of whipped cream, and smoky elements. The wine comes over as not overly intense but quite complex on the palate and leaves a nicely juicy and moderately zesty feel in the finish. The aftertaste is quite appealing and really makes one want to go for more. MOSEL FINE WINES

From 80- to 90-year-old vines picked at 76° Oechsle, the 2022 Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett offers a clear, pure and fresh, coolish and flinty bouquet of crushed stones and bright, ripe fruits. Round and with ripe, crystalline acidity, this is a charmingly aromatic Himmelreich Kabinett with stunningly crisp and vivacious, mineral acidity on the finish. STEPHAN REINHARDT, Wine Advocate

  2. Richter Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese 2022
Richter Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese 2022
    6 BOTTLE LIMIT
The 2022er Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese was made from fruit picked at 86° Oechsle and was fermented down to sweet levels of residual sugar (70-75 g/l). It offers a ripe yet subtle nose made of pear, grapefruit puree, mirabelle, delicately creamy elements, herbs, and smoke. The wine is nicely juicy and comparatively light-weighted on the palate, where the fruity elements are lifted up by a ripe touch of zest. The sweetness still needs to integrate in the aftertaste, something which will happen after a decade or so of bottle aging MOSEL FINE WINES

From vines about 50 years old, the 2022 Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese opens with a pure, crystalline and beautifully aromatic bouquet of ripe and lush, pretty tropical fruit aromas intertwined with lemon zests and broken slate. Round and saline on the palate, with ripe and playful, very elegant acidity, this is a mouth-filling, crystalline and saline Spätlese with very delicate phenolic grip and excellent aging potential.
