Mas Amiel Masterclass

Protected on the north side by the Corbières range and by the steep foothills of the Pyrenees on the south, Mas Amiel, is swept by the tramontane wind and exposed to scorching temperatures in this terroir of extreme conditions. This striking landscape is home to one of France's if not the world's most unique sweet and fortified wines based around grenache, and Mas Amiel is one of its greatest producers.

For owner Olivier Decelle it was love at first sight as he continued a story that was set in motion nearly 200 years prior that started with a title deed to an 80-hectare estate of scrubland, wild terrain and scattered vineyards won during a card game. Fast-forward to today and Olivier has fulfilled his dream of bringing the wines of Mas Amiel to the world and we will be forever grateful.
