Joshua Cooper Chardonnay 2025The 2025 Chardonnay was sourced entirely from the weathered granite slopes of the Dash Farms vineyard.
A slightly longer pressing and ageing in a combination of old French oak and stainless steel has resulted in a beautiful Chardonnay with all the hallmarks of the house style, while also presenting a wonderful drinkability in youth.
Aromatically floral and inviting with jasmine blossom, lemon zest and subtle crushed stone, the palate is focused and precise, with lemon and faint green almond flavours, yet offers lovely concentration of flavour and finely mouth coating texture.
Cellar into the medium term or enjoy now in youth.

Joshua Cooper Early Release Claret 2025A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec, made in a slightly softer and more fruit-forward style than the other Josh Cooper Cabernet wines, though with enough structure to enjoy both now or later.
Bright garnet in colour, the Claret is full of blood plum, cassis and creamy black cherry fruit, while subtle tobacco, violet and iodine add complexity. Plush and full of purple berry fruit, the palate is light enough for luncheon drinking yet also has enough stuffing and structure to take serious food matching, or sometime in the cellar. 2025 is a particularly strong vintage for this wine and sadly made in quite limited quantity due to the dry season.
“Yes, a bold strike, a thumbing of the noise at Bordeaux, a come at me kind of moment - this is Claret of Josh Cooper. It’s Claret alright. Medium weight, supple, dark cherry, cola, cassis, violet florals, sweet tobacco, light mahogany and choc-mint. A lively wine yet at medium weight, maybe a little more, sweet fruit and that herbal inflection running riot. All of it mellow in a way, seamless in integration. Light on its feet, pretty and then, again, you know you have something of concentration. A touch resinous, in this, but we move past, that’s micrometer detail. Wonderful wine here.” - Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
