The 2022 Saint-Joseph L'Olivaie originates from up to 80-year-old vines in the lieu-dit of the same name. Black cherry, blueberry, pencil shavings and discrete cedar elements are all pushed forward. A pure, perfumed wine, the 2022 Saint Joseph l'Olivaie reveals aromas of plums, dark berries and dark cherries mingled with lovely menthol notes. Medium to full-bodied, layered and textured, it's seamless with a fleshy core of fruit, velvety tannins and a long, dark berry-inflected finish. The 2022 Saint-Joseph Le Paradis Saint-Pierre originates from the longest-lived vines of the winery, some of which are over a century old. Vinified with 50% whole-clusters and scheduled to age for one year in a combination of 228-liter pièces and demi-muids, the 2022 unfurls with fragrant raspberry jam, pencil shavings, orange rind and ripe black fruits paired with cedar and discrete vanilla.
