100% Meursault fruit from two small lieu-dits (Les Clous Perrons and les Magnys) with vines dating back to 1951.
This is a baby Meursault by nature. All the fruit comes from Meursault with some lovely old vines adding intensity and complexity. A delicious overachiever, it lures you in with notes of white nectarines, honey and wet stones. There’s lovely depth to the fruit that’s lassoed together by a minerally tension and fine chewy quince-like phenolics on the finish. This is open and ready to devour, it’s an irresistible Bourgogne blanc. GABRIELLE POY

A cushioned width of aroma - this is very inviting. In the mouth a modest cushion too - but there's also some riper fruit depth and a silky texture - a super Bourgogne - with an almost sparkly, mineral finishing style - faintly tannic at the end. BILL NANSON

The 2021 Bourgogne Chardonnay "Les Grandes Coutures" is fragrant on the nose with Golden Delicious and light white cotton scents. The palate is medium-bodied with brisk acidity and a saline finish. NEAL MARTIN
