  1. Domaine Chanzy Bourgogne Pinot Noir Les Fortunes 2022
Domaine Chanzy Bourgogne Pinot Noir Les Fortunes 2022
Le fortunee- fruit is from 4 lots (1 in Bouzeron and 3 in Mercurey) Darker fruits, spice, blue and black fruit to the fore. Fleshy, ripe, pleasing pithy tannins, some nice warmth to the palate too. Bit of mid-pallet fruit push that is spiked with dark roast spice and earthy notes. Nice generosity but still snappy.

  2. Domaine de Bellene Coteaux Bourguignons L'Eclos des Abeille Chardonnay 2022
Domaine de Bellene Coteaux Bourguignons L'Eclos des Abeille Chardonnay 2022
Attractively spicy aromas include those of green apple and plenty of citrus wisps. The racy, delicious, detailed and nicely textured flavors exude a subtle minerality on the mildly austere, refreshing and inviting finish. This isn't especially complex but it's so vibrant that one feels like drinking it. BURGHOUND

  3. Domaine de Bellene Bourgogne Rouge Maison Dieu VV 2022
Domaine de Bellene Bourgogne Rouge Maison Dieu VV 2022

Ripe deeply pitched aromas include those of pungent earth, various dark berries and whiff of spice. The delicious, caressing and supple middleweight flavors possess a relatively refined texture for what this is though it contrasts with the slightly rustic finale...it is a quality Bourgogne. BURGHOUND - OUTSTANDING TOP VALUE

2022 yielded a ripe and fruity, polished and approachable Bourgogne rouge from domaine vines, supple, plush and immediately engaging. I love the balance achieved, the fluidity on the palate, the seamless acids intermingled with very fine-grained tannins. Length is excellent. Very refined and sophisticated wine, one that delivers well above its humble appellation, and drinking well even now, though cellerable into the late '20s without concern. 4. Roche de Bellene Bourgogne Chardonnay Cuvee Reserve 2022
Roche de Bellene Bourgogne Chardonnay Cuvee Reserve 2022
The négociant arm of Domaine de Bellene, Roche de Bellene was created with the aim of bringing high-quality Burgundy to a broader audience without sacrificing authenticity. Sourcing from old-vine vineyards across Burgundy, the wines are made with a sensitive, low-intervention approach that emphasises site expression and drinkability. Honest, characterful Burgundy that consistently punches above its weight.

The entry-level white Burgundy comes from old-vine parcels in the Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. The vines have an average age of 48 years and, as with all the wines, harvesting is done by hand. For this cuvée, about half is vinified in stainless steel and half in used oak barrels. This gives a nice balance of fresh fruit with a light touch of oak.

  6. Fabien Coche Bourgogne Chardonnay 2022
    Fabien Coche Bourgogne Chardonnay 2022
Coming from 7 parcels of beautifully situated vines owned by the estate all within Meursault just below the village. This wine is whole bunch pressed then raised in a 3000 litre foudre before being moved back to stainless steel for 6 months in tank and bottled with no fining or filtration in January after a total of 16 months on lees. This is clearly not an average Bourgogne blanc with weight texture and character way above its humble appellation label. A Bourgogne blanc that delivers freshness and attractive Chardonnay fruit yet is also very complex and fine.

  7. Olivier Morin Bourgogne Blanc Chitry 'Constance' 2022
Olivier Morin Bourgogne Blanc Chitry 'Constance' 2022
Olivier Morin took over the family business in 1992, after a first life spent in the music world. The 14ha domaine is currently undergoing organic certification. When he took over, his parents were making just their three appellations: Aligoté, plus Chitryof both colours. The continuity of this approach is reflected in Olivier's 'Constance' cuvées, to which he has added an old-vine Bourgogne Chitry white called Olympe, after the original owner of the vines, and a single vineyard red, Vau de Puits. Olivier Morin likes a long slow fermentation forthe whites, using natural yeasts. The reds are vinified without sulphur until after the malolactic fermentation. JASPER MORRIS, Inside Burgundy

Textural and elegant Chardonnay from Chitry about 10min South-East of Chablis. Apple and peaches with a delicious vibrant mineral finish; highlighting the Kimmeridgian and Portlandian soils were the vines grow. This is an honest Burgundy wine showing a sense of place and true authenticity.
