The 2016 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is a gorgeous entry-level wine from Peay. Gracious and light on its feet. Sweet red cherry, kirsch, rose petal and mint soar out of the glass. Pliant, silky and nuanced, the 2016 has so much to recommend it. The flavors are a touch exotic, but that is naturally more of an observation than a critique. ANTONIO GALLONI
