From 40-plus year old vines.
Quite rich and full yet refreshment factor is retained. Quite a bit of rich stone fruit to sniff on, preserved lime, ginger, toasted coconut whiffs, a touch of toffee apple in there too. Bold flavours, big and round yet a core of crackling, grapefruity acidity spiked with brine. There’s character in spades here, lots of texture yet crisp edges, a flourish of toffee apple to finish.
