Pascal Jolivet Sancerre 2024

Located just south of Paris, the vineyards of Sancerre sit on rolling hills between 200–400 metres altitude. The Pascal Jolivet estate spans 74 acres across Bué, Verdigny and Ste Gemme, where the Loire River and surrounding forests create a mild microclimate. The soils – chalky Caillottes (50%), clay-limestone Terres Blanches (30%), and flinty Silex (20%) – each bring their own character to the final blend.
The estate’s philosophy is to let nature take its course. Fermentation is spontaneous with wild yeasts under temperature control, and each soil type is vinified separately to highlight terroir. The resulting wine shows richness, elegance, and balance, marked by citrus freshness, mineral tension, and a smooth, powerful finish.
