IGT Alpi Retiche means that the Nebbiolo grapes come from the terraced vineyards in the province of Sondrio. The fruit for Botonero is sourced from vineyards featuring southern exposure, altitudes between 300-700m and predominantly sandy soils, of glacial morainic origin.
Medium bodied red. After a delicate destemming, the grapes, lightly pressed, are sent into stainless steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation takes place with 6 days of maceration of the skins on the must, then matured in steel for 8 months and in the bottle 6 months. MAMETE PREVOSTINI
