Benanti Etna Bianco 2021100% Carricante grown on bush vines at 900-1000 metres above sea level. Grapes selected from vineyards located on the Eastern and Southern slopes of Mount Etna. Fermentation lasts 12 days and takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 18°C, with the aid of Benanti’s own indigenous yeast, which was selected from local vineyards through years of research and experimentation in the celllar. Alta Mora Etna Bianco 2021The 2021 Etna Bianco is fresh and nicely balanced with white peach and grapefruit that are contrasted against crushed mineral and volcanic ash. This crisp white wine proves highly drinkable and enjoyable thanks to that almost salty back end that would pair with fried shrimp or Thai spring rolls. It ages on the fine lees for six month. The 2021 Etna Bianco opens with a whiff of crushed stones and raw almonds, giving way to crushed green apples. It soothes with its round, enveloping textures.
