  1. Hither & Yon Aglianico Rose 2023
Hither & Yon Aglianico Rose 2023

Strong currency in regenerative agriculture and progressive environmental considerations from Hither & Yon. Here’s aglianico in a rose, pressed off slowly over/after three hours.

It’s fresh and fruity, bright and lovely. Rosy fruit characters, floral and cherry-imbued, licks of Campari and pomegranate too. A bit of grip makes things nice, a light chew and pucker making for good texture. A light dusting of peppery/clovey spice in the mix too. Just-so, easy to like, a bit serious, plenty drinkable. 2. Mazi Limited Release Rose 2022
    Mazi Limited Release Rose 2022
Mazi Wines is a collaboration between Alex Katsaros and Toby Porter - life long friends who have realised a dream to make wine together. Toby has been a winemaker at d’Arenberg in McLaren Vale for over14 years while Alex has been making wine and working on alternative variety projects both here and abroad for the last decade. All wines under the Mazi label are made dry in style and focus on food friendliness for you to enjoy the way we do – at the table with friends. The 2022 Limited Release rosé was made from handpicked Mourvedre and Grenache grapes grown in the heart of McLaren Vale.

The fruit was gently whole bunch pressed to delicately extract the spice driven, savoury juice synonymous with Mourvedre grown in the Vale. The very pale salmon hues are the result of the gentle extraction and minimal skin contact prior to fermentation.

  3. Mutual Promise Nebbiolo Rose 2022
    Mutual Promise Nebbiolo Rose 2022
Nebbiolo has to be the ultimate rose' varietal. Tart and textural, refreshing and regal. Fruit sourced from the  Alpine Valley this year, it had a distinctive and pleasing wild strawberry aromatic in the winery. Slow and  natural fermentation in tank to preserve the aromatics. Left with a barely perceptible touch of residual sugar  to balance the tart natural acidity and generous yet finely shaped tannins as a finished wine it still has the  wild red fruits but has also developed refreshing amaro and grapefruit characters.
