    The 2021 Moscatel - Macabeo - Airén was produced with 40% Moscatel, 40% Macabeo and 20% Airén that fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and was kept with the lees until bottling. This is very floral, herbal and expressive, a blend to show the landscape, because he thinks the Moscatel is not complete enough to be bottled alone. So, this combines notes of jasmine, chamomile, fennel and grass, and all the wines fermented with indigenous yeasts. It's long and clean and has a dry, chalky finish with a saline twist. It has medium ripeness at 13% alcohol and a pH of 3.3. The whites don't go through malolactic to keep the tension and freshness, and the malic acid is not very high.     This comes from a tinly vineyard of 80yo goblet-pruned, organic Juan García planted in gravel and granitic sand at 710 metres altitude.

    This is a perfumed, incredibly interesting dry pink. Woody like last year’s old red apples, and indeed a tad cider sour, it’s delicately floral, with orchard smells, apple tree leaves, madder rose, hibiscus. The palate is incredibly fresh, brimming sweet-and-sour and ending with the chalky grip of stony minerality and neat fruit acid. The long, squeaky finish follows a gentle savoury fruit heart. Never strict, it’s light and has excellent linger and sliding release despite the utter absence of fructose or fill.     Organic, biodynamic and vegan friendly, the Casa Lluch is from winemaker Bodegas Enguera in Valencia. Made from locally certified organically grown grapes the Bodega was founded in 1999 and fruit is sourced only from their own vineyards where they can maintain strict controls on the quality of fruit and it shows.

    A ripping little Spanish rosado that will have you coming back for more. Strawberries and fresh picked raspberries with a little hint of peppery spice. Lovel lush fruit that flows a little too easy coating with crunchy red berries a plenty with a raspberry coulis finish. It's the simple things in life that are often the best and this rosado is one of those.
