Aged release. A slight green-straw hue and a very good colour for its age. It's showing no signs of slowing down soon, thanks to the acidity across the fine palate. Slick and spicy, savoury and tangy with lots of crushed rock minerality, a dash of white balsamic tang, loads of preserved lemon, crystalline gingery spice. It's flavoursome, rich in a way, but also holds shape in a cooler frame though it touches medium weight too. A lick of Jura chardonnay, hey. Character filled, compelling drinking, a chardonnay not afraid of flavour but happy resting in a space that feels cooler and brighter too. Apple, cashew, almond, pulpy grapefruit, cumquat, cinnamon.
