Les Athletes du Vin" is a collective of some of finest organic Loire Valley producers. They aim to make delicious and real wine celebrating the beauty and diversity of the Loire.
The 'Athletes' all share the same philosophy. Maximum care is taken with farming practices, which includes hand harvesting vines from 10 to 120 years old. In the winery, it's all about minimal intervention, using natural yeast for fermentation, stainless steel, concrete and old oak along with minimum sulphur addition.
Chenin Blanc shines in Spring as a refreshing match to seasonal dishes. Made from 35 year old vines, this expression is highly aromatic, with notes of pear, apple and ginger joining fleshing stone fruits and citrus on the palate.
