A fresh and transparent wine with blackberry and orange peel aromas. Medium-bodied with very fine tannins and a long, racy finish. Crunchy too. All in balance. Made by Guilliame Thienpont of Vieux Chateau Certan. 83% merlot and 17% cabernet franc. Drinkable already, but will age beautifully. (95) JAMES SUCKLING
