Claudio Fenocchio's Barbera d'Alba is a vibrant and expressive example of the variety, offering exceptional value.
From 30-year-old vines in Monforte d'Alba, it is naturally fermented and matured in both stainless steel and large Slavonian oak. Deep in colour and generous in fruit, it shows raspberry, cherry and strawberry, with fresh acidity and a subtle balsamic edge-true to both place and variety.
It has a deep ruby hue with garnet reflections. The nose is intensely perfumed with raspberry, cherry and strawberry characters echoing on the silky, juicy palate. It's full bodied with a pleasant level of acidity lifting spicy balsamic notes that carry on for a while.
