From 40 year old vines, this is drawn from two great Kiedrich sites: Klosterberg and Sandgrub. Klosterberg is one of the Rheingau’s highest vineyards, where deep, weathered quartzite soils produce some of the village’s most exciting Rieslings. Sandgrub is known for wines of great fruit intensity and juicy character.
Tightly wound on the medium-bodied palate, with restrained creaminess, delightful juiciness and silkiness. After a little aeration, aromas of orange blossoms emerge. Long, complex finish with delicate minerality and a positive thread of bitterness. STUART PIGGOT

It is clear, quite deep and complex, with mineral substance, stony-salty notes and white flowers and citrus nuances. Round but dry, this is a medium-bodied but mouth-filling Riesling with a round, juicy, savory and crystalline finish. It is quite intense and has good, palate-cleansing length. Bottled in April. 12% stated alcohol. STEPHAN RHEINHARDT
