The 2023 Kiedrich is deep, intense and complex on the remarkably bright, refined and elegant, saline and flinty nose. Full-bodied, rich yet elegant, fresh and saline on the palate, this is an expressive village Riesling with a remarkably intense and complex minerality that not only balances the power and full body of this stunningly persistent village wine but also uplifts its complex finish. Is it really a village wine and not a hidden, long undiscovered grand cru? The finish is intense, saline and long and reveals fine tannins, citric notes and a blend of calcareous and slatey features. 12.5% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024. (94) STEPHAN REINHARDT, The Wine Avocate

The 2023 Riesling Kiedrich is from loess and loam soils. A flinty crackle of reduction still swings along, but green pear peel and supple lemon also emerge. The palate is light, smooth and gentle, with a lemony poise and a slightly pithy texture. Pure and vivid, it closes with a long, tangy, lime-tinged finish. (Bone-dry) ANNE KREBIEHL MW, Vinous
