Vidiano, a rare white grape from Crete, brings a sophisticated, textured white wine with remarkable depth. Like other white varietals revived from the brink of extinction—think Arneis or Viognier—Vidiano is a challenging grape, known for its low yields. However, dedicated organic producers like Douloufakis carefully ferment and age it in stainless steel to preserve its fresh, vibrant fruit.
With a lush profile of yellow pear, honeysuckle, and a hint of lemon zest, Vidiano offers a flavor similar to Pinot Gris but with added flair.
