The palate combines elegance, precision, ripeness and stuffing, transitioning to a concentrated yet pure and lifted finish. The 2022 Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills) is airy, gracious and understated. Dried herbs, mint, crushed flowers, cedar and tobacco all run through this perfumed, layered Pinot. The floral and savoy style is so typical of these wines. Aeration brings out lovely mid-palate richness and pliancy to round things out. There's plenty of charm and immediacy here. ANTONIO GALLONI
