There is no doubt to the pedigree of the wines coming from Yves Cuilleron. He makes an incredibly diverse range of wines both red and white but it's the latter that he is most famous for and his range of northern Rhone blanc impress for both their depth and breadth of selection and this is no exception.
The Viognier for this cuvée is sourced from vineyards in the village of Chavanay, again planted to granite-infused soil. The fermentations (alcoholic and malolactic) are done in stainless steel; then, the wines are racked into a mix of stainless steel cuves and small barrels for a six-month elevage before bottling.
