Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (34%), Cabernet Franc (15%), Petit Verdot (6%). Owned and farmed by the Cuvelier family this iconic Saint-Julien estate is one of the appellation reference. Average age of the vineyard 39 years old. Manual harvest into crates. Manual sorting of whole bunches, then individual berry selection by optical sorter. Partial plot selections. 18 months in French oak barrels, all second fill. A true second wine of Léoville-Poyferré.
