The 2023 Bourgogne Aligoté, for me, is the strongest cuvée from Chanterêves. It translates the variety with style, delivering hints of brioche and grilled hazelnuts on the nose. The palate has an irresistible creamy texture that is neatly countered by the acidity. There is commendable purity to this Aligoté. It should offer several years of drinking pleasure. NEAL MARTIN, Vinous

This is the most concentrated to date, evidently aligoté with concentrated baked apple as well as a herbal note. Fresh citrus minerality at the back, with a particularly satisfying finish. JASPER MORRIS, Inside Burgundy

Mainbey is located on the side of a small valley across from the village of Fussey, at an altitude of 470 meters. This low-yielding plot is one of the oldest of the Estate?41 years old. Tomoko explains, "This is our stoniest plot of Aligoté. We have lost count of the times Guillaume, and I had to collect huge pieces of limestone rock, so that we can use the caterpillar tractor without damaging the machine.
