Albert Mann Riesling Furstentum Grand Cru 2020

The 2020 Riesling is made from three plots on the mid-slope of the Furstentum Grand Cru, on limestone. The nose brims with lifted hayflower and wild thyme. The palate has the inherent coolness of limestone, in complete contrast to the sunny ripeness of the fruit, a wonderful counterpoint of hot sun and cool stone, made mouth-watering with the flavor of salted lemon. Beautiful ripe-apricot and orange aromas pour from glass and, on the palate, this makes a bold statement, thanks to the generous fruit and ample body. But this is not just full and ripe.
