SPECIAL VALUE - TOP 100 WINES - A blend of 63/16/10/7/4% cabernet sauvignon/merlot/petit verdot/malbec/cabernet franc. That's two great back-to-back vintages for this Yarra Valley and Australian classic. Bright crimson purple. A wonderful bouquet of perfectly ripened black cherries, blackcurrants, cedar (from the already integrated oak) and lavender. With its core of dark fruits and impeccably balanced, fully ripe yet silky tannins, this complex and harmonious wine is destined to join the ranks of the very best Yeringbergs. (98) JAMES HALLIDAY'S WINE COMPANION

Medium to full ruby red colour. Blackberry, black olive and dried bayleaf on the nose. A wonderfully complex and harmonious palate with dark fruits, wood spices and a dried leaf note all wrapped in finely honed gravelly tannins. The palate is medium weight but with a sense of restrained tension, carrying to a prodigious length and allowing the finish to be a joyous fan of classic cabernet characters (98) THE REAL REVIEW

Deeply brooding and refined aromas of blackcurrants, graphite, bay leaves, licorice and dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied with seamless tannins, giving notes of blackberries, blueberry bush, mocha, violets and cedar. A very polished and pure Bordeaux-inspired blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, petit verdot, malbec and cabernet franc. Excellent. (97) JAMES SUCKLING
