The 2023 Riesling Siefersheim Porphyr was made chiefly from grapes grown in the topmost reaches of the east-facing Heerkretz site. Aromatic bergamot plunges into creamy apricot on the nose, all subtle yet really clear. The palate is a picture of juiciness, brilliance and clarity, with beautifully ripe acidity and phenolics that remind of nectarine skin.
