A pinot noir sourced from the Freycinet Coast that shows an enticing array of ripe red cherry, raspberry and redcurrant fruits, cut with Asian spice and hints of undergrowth, powdered stone, purple florals, dried citrus rind and a sweep of sour cherry. It's got the feel like its been kissed by the sea, with a tang of brine to the acidity and super tight, silty, granitic tannins providing just the right amount of chew. DAVE BROOKS, winecompanion.com
